My German Valentine

It's no secret that every little girl dreams about her first real valentine: the Notebook-Esc kissing in the rain even though one of you is married yet it's so incredibly romantic-like Valentine. Or the Sandra Bullock (insert any movie) happy-endings, where guy pines for girl, girl blows off guy, guy finally woos her over some gigantic gesture. While all of these romantic movies are adorable and fit in well over some strong martinis and girl night-time, it's not how most of us live our everyday. Most of us like a well cooked meal by the man we love, good wine (too much wine) and some good hang out time. Because at the end of the day, and when you really love someone, all you want is to be around and hang out with that person-and that's exactly how I spent my perfect German Valentine.
